Springfest, held the last Saturday in April, is when
thousands of people come downtown to celebrate springtime. 4th
of July kicks off with a downtown parade then on to Lake
Pat Cleburne for food, kid activities, entertainment and the
main event with a majestic fireworks display.
Whistle Stop Christmas in Hulen Park begins with 2-3
million lights being turned on the day before Thanksgiving and staying
on till the end of December in Hulen Park. An evening lighted parade
takes place downtown the first Friday evening in December. "The
Majesty of Christmas" play, carriage rides, Santa, and
music enhance the beauty of the park.
Splash Station Waterpark is a premiere venue for aquatic
recreation. The 8-lane lap pool is open year-round, with the leisure
pool opened in summer months. Slides, interactive spray ground, and vortex
