Stroll the tree-lined El Paseo de Santa Angela from historic San Angelo to Fort Concho, and step back in time. Established in 1867, Fort Concho offers visitors a unique look into the area's past.

Shop, eat, stroll, or just enjoy the view on Concho Avenue, San Angelo's oldest street. Historic buildings and stores exhibit the city's colorful history.

International Water Lily GardenGet an exclusive look at water lilies from around the world at the International Water Lily Garden. This natural exhibition showcases day and night-blooming varieties with exceptional viewing from March through September.

Follow the winding RiverWalk through parks and gardens, past fountains and waterfalls, to the RiverStage outdoor amphitheater, where you can relax and listen to the soulful sounds of local bands and musicians.

Wish upon a star at the Angelo State University Planetarium. Gaze at over 5,000 celestial bodies at the fourth largest university planetarium in the nation.

Plan to see "The Secret Life of Girls" at the Angelo Civic Theatre (September 3-10, 2008), or stroll the red carpet at Symphony of Horses, presented by the San Angelo Symphony (August 23, 2008).

Art WalK
Downtown San Angelo now hosts an Art Walk on the third Tuesday evening of each month. Enjoy downtown galleries, free admission, entertainment and fun. Future dates include August 21, September 18, October 16 and November 20, 2008.

Celebration of Champions is coming to San Angelo in January 2009-2011
This NRCHA World Championship is really three shows in one and features top horses and riders. One of those events is the World's Greatest Horseman, which is one of the most prestigious titles in the horse world.
