AIR RACE 1 IN THE SKIES OF TEXAS! Come and join us in the beautiful city of San Angelo in the midst of ranching country and situated on the picturesque Concho River! Air Race 1 will host a series of races over Halloween weekend from October 30th to 31st in which top air racing teams will compete wing-tip to wing-tip in front of a live crowd. And you could join us and be part of it! __________________________________ The event will be one of the first sporting events open to crowds in San Angelo since the Covid-19 outbreak began and signals a return to live sports and entertainment in the region. Make sure you don’t miss out on this one! San Angelo is a charming West Texas town with art, culture and a nod to the area’s frontier heritage. Come and discover a place that balances that West Texas authenticity with its own kind of cosmopolitan allure. ___________________________________ The event is sanctioned by the sport’s US governing body, the International Formula One Air Racing Association (IF1) who are working closely with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to ensure the event is in accordance with the rules and regulations set out by the respective authorities.
