The W.A.S.P - A WWII Short Film
Jun 14, 2025
Join the National Museum of the Pacific War for a celebration of the contributions of the WASP Program to WWII. During WWII the United States established the Women Airforce Service Pilots program to help ferry planes, tow targets and conduct flight tests. Women stepped up in droves to help, freeing up men to serve abroad.
At this family friendly, open house style event, we will be showing a brief film about the WASPs, focusing on an interaction between Hazel, a WASP and a farmer from Texas. We will also hear from a KOW (kid of a WASP), and more.
Join us in the Historic Nimitz Ballroom for two showings at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
