Austin’s art museum is steps from the Texas State Capitol, on the southern border of The University of Texas. With more than 21,000 artworks that span continents, centuries, and cultures -- including Austin, the iconic building designed by the renowned Ellsworth Kelly - the museum is must-see for visitors to the city. New temporary exhibitions created by the Blanton and on loan from renowned institutions are on view throughout the year.
