Historic Baytown's Arts, Culture, and Entertainment Council Art Sites

Picasso once said, “Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.” Immerse yourself in the outdoor art and enjoy free cultural events and performances in Baytown’s ACE (Arts, Culture, and Entertainment) District, also known as the Baytown Downtown Arts District. A visit to this historic downtown area will leave you squeaky clean!

Here are some details to help you plan your visit to Baytown’s downtown art and entertainment destination.

Historic Baytown’s ACE District and Sculpture Trail Location

ACE District is located between Lee College Performing Arts Center and the Baytown Little Theater.

The Howdy Mural is located at 123 West Defee Street.

Cultural and entertainment events happen at Town Square, 213 West Texas Avenue, unless otherwise posted.

The Sculpture Trail is located at Town Square, on Ashbel Street, and between the 100 to 400 blocks of West Texas Avenue.

Art Alley (formerly Umbrella Alley) is located at 124 West Texas.


Historic Baytown’s ACE District Hours and Fees

The Baytown Sculpture Trail and Art Alley are free to visit and open 24 hours a day.

Guided tours can also be arranged.

All sculptures along the Baytown Sculpture Trail are annually displayed outdoors for one year beginning in March, until a new set of sculptures are displayed.
