Holiday Village in Brownsville Hours and Admission Prices

For nearly six weeks each year, Brownsville’s Dean Porter Park becomes the magical Holiday Village. The village’s 34 custom designed cottages are decorated both inside and out for the season. The miniature city includes reproductions of historic homes, businesses, the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, a one-room schoolhouse, and Mercy Hospital, to name a few. Santa sets up shop here, as well. You’ll see his bustling workshop, an elf bunkhouse, a reindeer barn, and his hunt and fishing lodge where he can take a much-needed break!

Holiday Village’s grand opening celebration kicks off at 6 p.m. on the Monday before Thanksgiving. Live performances, giveaways, and tasty treats are on tap. The official lighting ceremony of the village’s constellation of twinkling lights happens at 7 p.m. Whether you’re looking for a family-friendly outing or taking a nostalgic walk down memory lane, Holiday Village offers something for everyone. Come enjoy the cottages, entertainment, and yummy food truck fare this holiday season. Here’s some information to help plan a holly jolly visit to the North Pole in South Texas.
