Only ten miles east of Navasota many sites dating from the Texas Revolution can be found. Washington on the Brazos going West and one of the most famous is Fanthorp Inn State Park, which is a completely restored 1830's Stagecoach Inn with its own Red Concorde Stagecoach to the East. Open to the public on weekends, Fanthorp offers stagecoach rides on the second Saturday of each month.
