Independence Day Celebration
Columbus claims the oldest Independence Day celebration in the state of Texas, and it’s one you won’t want to miss. Held annually at the Columbus Golf Course, the event starts with a children’s and pet parade and culminates in fireworks over the night sky.  Also enjoy inflatables and water slides, live music, vendors, food and free admission.

Colorado County Fair

Lighted Christmas Parade
A cherished tradition, the Lighted Christmas Parade brings merriment and cheer to downtown Columbus. Watch illuminated floats roll through the streets, creating a festive spectacle for the young and young at heart.
