Winter Texans Dinner 
Northern visitors head to Kingsland in the winter for warmer outdoor fun. To welcome them, Kingsland hosts the Winter Texans Dinner once a month from January through March. Along with sumptuous Texas fare and friendly folks, the event also features a raffle and live music. Held on the second Tuesday of each month from 5pm to 8pm.

February  

Winter Texans Dinner
All are welcome to the Kingsland Chamber’s monthly Winter Texans Dinner held monthly from January through March at the Log Country Cove resort on Lake LBJ. Bring your favorite dish to this friendly potluck dinner where the main course is always provided. Enjoy local bands while you catch up with old friends.

Winter Texans Dinner

July

Kingsland AquaBoom 
You’ve never seen the Fourth of July celebrated quite like this! AquaBoom is a multi-day family friendly celebration of American independence that includes three parades, an arts and crafts show, costume contest, golf tournament, rubber ducky and washer contests, and lots more. The festivities culminate with stunning fireworks overlooking Lake LBJ that spectators view from anchored boats or on the shore.

Taste Highland Lakes

50th Anniversary Release of Tobe Hooper's Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Hooper’s is planning a “killer” weekend, October 25-27, full of food, music, vendors, and, of course, the celebration of the 50th anniversary release of Tobe Hooper’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
