American Windmill Museum
Explore the history of wind energy at the American Windmill Museum, the largest windmill museum in the world. More than 170 rare and fully restored windmills tower above 28 acres of scenic rolling hills on the east side of Lubbock. A stunning 6,000-square-foot mural, called “Legacy of the Wind,” illustrates the past, present, and future of the windmill. The American Windmill Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday throughout the year.

FiberMax Center for Discovery
The FiberMax Center for Discovery features interactive exhibits and historical displays telling the story of American agriculture, from early pioneer days to modern age. More than 71 pedal tractors, a cotton ginning exhibit, historic farm house, and a recreation of a 1920s blacksmith shop are some of the museum's attractions. The FiberMax Center for Discovery is open Tuesday through Saturday.

Cactus Theater
Cactus Theater in Lubbock is a live performance theater that offering year-round musicals, plays, and concerts in the heart of Lubbock's Depot District. These performances are held in a historic building constructed in 1937, and was Lubbock's first neighborhood movie theater.
