Devil’s Bowl Speedway
Racing fans and adrenaline junkies should head to the Devil’s Bowl Speedway between March and October for their fix of the fastest cars in the Southwest. The unique D shaped track makes sure that everyone has a great seat and can feel the wind of the cars zipping by. For those looking for a little more of a rush, we suggest purchasing a Pit Pass to watch the race from the center of the track. Make it a memorable moment with pictures inside the cars and with the drivers.

Florence Ranch Homestead
The 1870s home of a local icon, the Florence family, is now an educational museum that takes guests on a journey back through life on the prairie. Informed docents will guide you on a tour of this excellent example of late 19th-century rural Texas architecture. Open for tours on Fridays from 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and on the second Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This 5,500-seat multipurpose building is the home of both the Mesquite Rodeo and the Mesquite Outlaws, one of the newest members of the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL). Catch the ProRodeo Athletes (PRCA) qualifying rodeo events Saturday nights from June through August, and home soccer games from November through March.

Be sure to make the thriving Mesquite art scene a stop on your next stay. The Mesquite Symphony Orchestra and the Mesquite Community Band consistently performs a dynamic and moving season every year. Mesquite Golf Club
Pick up your golf clubs and head to the award-winning course at the Mesquite Golf Club. The fantastically maintained 18-hole municipal course is new and improved with 18 new sand traps; three new holes, expanded tee boxes, Champion Bermuda greens and 20 new bunkers. Opal Lawrence Historical Park
This 1880s homestead holds the rare distinction of being listed on the National Register of Historic Places, named a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark, and recognized as a Century Family Farm by the Texas Department of Agriculture. Visitors can explore the virtually unchanged Lawrence home, as well as outbuildings every Tuesday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to get an idea of farmstead living at the turn of the 20th century. If you cannot make a tour, please sure to stop by one of the many annual events held here including Treasure Barn Sale and Nibbles and Sips.

Town East Mall
Mesquite offers more than 3 million square feet of retail shopping at the intersection of IH-635 and I-30 with Town East Mall as the centerpiece.
