December 3 - 21
We’re celebrating Christmas all month long this December here in the Texas Mountains. It’s a truly magical time beneath our star-studded sky. As you pop in and out of art galleries and boutique shops on the hunt for that perfect gift, colorful decorations light the streets and downtown businesses, and music fills the air. Join in the joyful festivities that include a parade of lights, ice skating, and visits with Santa.
You can’t miss the Winter Wonderland Ice Skating Festival & Children’s Day (Dec. 14), where there will be free ice skating on the full-size ice rink! Enjoy food, music, and family-friendly festivities throughout the day including special children’s activities at the nearby Alpine Civic Center.
Get your tickets early for the Cattlewoman’s Christmas Gala at Old Gringo Coffee & Cocktails (Dec. 21). The three-course dinner, dance, and silent auction will be a night to remember and benefits the West of the Pecos Cattlewomen.
On top of all this, there’s a SRSU First Lady’s Christmas Celebration (Dec. 3), Alpine Christian School Christmas Play (Dec. 5), Holiday Decoration Contest, and Downtown Starlight Shopping (Dec. 5, 12 & 19).
Gather your family and friends and come make memories in the desert mountains this holiday season. See you soon!
