Texas Storytelling Festival - MARCH

March 6 – 9, 2025

Everyone loves a good story, and the 40th Texas Storytelling Festival offers just the right story for everyone. This year’s event will be, March 6 - 9 2025.

Stories do more than entertain—they connect us to each other. Together, we can all understand and relate through accounts of joy and sorrow, loss and hilarity. Hear ghost stories, Texas tales, a liars contest, sacred stories, a story slam, and so much more. In addition, participants can attend workshops to hone their own storytelling skills.

Meet our Featured Tellers:

Charlotte Blake Alston breathes life into traditional and contemporary stories from African and African American oral and cultural traditions.

Bil Lepp tells outrageous, humorous tall-tales and witty stories that have earned him the appreciation of listeners of all ages and from all walks of life.

Cooper Braun's stories remind us that traditional stories can be funny, dark, poignant, and anything but dry.

Mo Reynolds blends folk tales with family stories to help us see that we are all connected by some key human truths and that we have far more in common than we think.

A weekend pass includes 15 storytelling concerts, 9 workshops, 2 music concerts, 1 poetry slam, 4 youth activities, and over 50 storytellers! Early bird deadline is February 24th.

There will be American Sign Language interpreters at all evening storytelling events.
