Cotton Court is entirely inspired by the rich history of Lubbock, Texas, particularly its cotton industry and musical roots. Like the other distinctive and independent properties in the Valencia Hotel Group, Cotton Court Hotel seamlessly blends local history and culture with modern amenities to create a relaxed luxury hotel. With the newly built hotel borrowing design elements from a cotton gin and cotton warehouse, the hotel won Texas Travel’s “Unique Lodging Award” in 2023.

Lubbock’s musical roots are on display in the sunny, two-story lobby. You can’t help but notice the second story mural that’s part cotton futures board and part Buddy Holly portrait. If you’re musically inclined, you can borrow one of the hotel’s guitars on display in niches behind the reception desk.
