Saturdays on Main is a family friendly event held on the first Saturday of each month to feature all the fun things to see and do in the 44 blocks of the Palestine Main Street District in downtown Palestine, Texas. We invite you to come see the new businesses that have recently opened in historic downtown with the latest clothing, perfect gifts, and adorable home decor. Enjoy the exquisite model train display at the Railroad Heritage Center. Spend some time browsing your favorite crafts, antique, and vintage shops. Sign up for unique classes offered by our locals as well. Be sure to take advantage of special event sales offered by many of our downtown retailers! When you get hungry take a break in the downtown coffee shops, restaurants, and bakeries. We have so much to choose from, you are sure to find something perfect! Check local schedules for live music, community theater plays, and comedy shows. Finish the day admiring the historic building architecture, and you just might get to see some of our bats!
