The Women’s Fund for Health Education and Resiliency’s ROC for H.E.R, a coed young professionals' organization in support for providing Houston-area women and girls with the tools needed to be advocates for their health, is hosting the annual Merry & Bright happy hour and Christmas light bus tour on Sunday, December 5, 2021, from 5 – 8 p.m. Guests are invited to wear their coziest or festive holiday attire and enjoy beer, wine and light bites at Christo Mio before departing for a holiday lights tour around River Oaks. For $50 for one or $85 for two, participants will enjoy beer and wine throughout the evening along with a tour of lights on an open-air bus. For a $10 suggested donation, guests can join the reception only at Christo Mio. Tickets and seating on the open-air bus are limited and guests must be 21+ to participate. Guests will also learn about The Women’s Fund’s ROC for H.E.R. membership program. Members receive invitations to all events, educational seminars and webinars, e-newsletter subscriptions, access to The Women’s Fund’s electronic membership directory, and special pricing for future member events. As a member, supporters can ensure that The Women’s Fund continues to promote resiliency, outreach and community to adolescent girls and women in the Greater Houston area by making a gift at $15 for a student membership, $40 for individual young professional membership, or $65 for a couples’ membership.
