Texas Arts and Crafts Fair

Sep 24, 2022 - Sep 25, 2022

Join us for the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Texas Arts and Crafts Fair, Sept. 24-25, 2022. The fair is held at the Hill Country Arts Foundation in Ingram, Texas, just west of Kerrville. Designated by the Legislature as the “official” Texas State Arts and Crafts Fair, this long-running weekend event showcases the work of more than 120 artists, crafters, musicians, and demonstrators exclusively from Texas. The fair is set on 13 acres on the banks of the Guadalupe River, and surrounding Stonehenge II. Visitors can browse and shop for fine art, pottery, photography, jewelry, stained glass and more. Educational activities include blacksmiths and knifemakers, quilters and potters who show off their crafts, while kids can visit the Texas Camel Corps or create their own art to take home. Refreshments include food trucks reflecting Texas’s diverse cuisine, and craft beer and wine. Musical performances are on the hour at the Stonehenge Stage. VIP events are being planned to honor the founders and elected officials who helped start the fair. Additionally, we will honor three artists who exhibited at the first fair in 1972: Amado Peña, Edith Maskey and Fred Stockbauer.
