This annual event celebrates the life of Audie Murphy, the most decorated combat soldier of WWII, as well as military veterans and those currently serving our country. Some of our featured speakers this year will include Larryann Willis, author of Audie Murphy Undercover, personal friend of Audie and movie producer Patrick Curtis and historian Mark Welborn, a historian and professor at Collin College. In addition, the bestselling movie Night Passage starring Audie Murphy and Jimmy Stewart will be shown at 2pm and 7pm at the Texan Theater on Friday, May 13th. Saturday morning activities will be held at the Fletcher Warren Civic Center and the afternoon and evening activities will be at the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum. All events at the civic center will be free but a regular admission charge of $6 adults, $4 senors/veterans and $2 students will apply to enter the Museum.
