The event features an egg hunt with thousands of prize-filled eggs for children ages 10 and under. Guests of all ages will delight in the joys of spring on the Blackland Prairie with the shearing of the Farmstead’s sheep and a variety of other family-friendly activities. The event will also include historic exhibits, mule drawn wagon rides, food trucks, up close and person with our farm animals and chickens and photo ops. We will also have hands-on demonstrations such as sheep to shawl that highlights sheep shearing, wool and fiber processing, weaving, children’s crafts, house tours and much more! The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Egg Hunts are scheduled every 30 minutes starting at 9am and guest will purchase tickets based on your child’s age.
