Enjoy after-hours exhibition access and unwind with relaxing activities for the post-tax season. Event Details Join us after work every Third Thursday for special extended Museum hours from 5 to 7 p.m.! Explore the exhibitions, enjoy food and drinks in The Star Cafe, and connect to the story of Texas. Different activities are offered each month. Museum garage parking is free after 5 p.m. Our "Revitalize & Relax" evening is designed to help you rejuvenate and indulge in an evening of self-care with workshops in mindfulness origami and meditative flower mandala, learning about blending essential oils, or creating a fidget key chain in our craft corner. The evening features specially mixed mocktails from The Star Café. Museum exhibition galleries will be open for exploration between 5 and 7 p.m. All activities are included in the price of exhibition admission. Onsite exhibition admission ticket sales end at 6:50 p.m. Featured Activities: Origami and Flower Mandala Workshop sessions will begin at 5 and 6 p.m. Origami Workshop - Create origami that expresses the joy and beauty of spring with Sari! Relax into the here and now while folding paper into a flower, butterfly, and bird. Find out how the art activity calms and revitalizes you. Flower Mandala Workshops - Unleash your creativity and inner peace with this mesmerizing flower mandala workshop with Wander + Art. Immerse yourself in a world of serenity where art and nature intertwine that connects you to the soothing power of nature and self-reflection. Aromatherapy - Explore how different scents can affect your well-being with Integral Care, the local mental health and intellectual and developmental disabilities authority of Travis County. Craft Corner - Explore your artistic side in our relaxing Third Thursday Craft Corner with the Bullock Museum staff.
