The Summer Institute for Teachers offers educators, particularly those teaching 5th-12th grade social studies, a unique and immersive experience like no other! This five-day professional development program gives educators the opportunity to engage in: Ten expert-led sessions that explore teaching World War II in the Asiatic Pacific through cross-curricular lessons, activities, primary sources, and more. A hands-on workshop that dives into the digital archives and teaching with artifacts to develop Discovery Boxes. Learning experiences intended to deepen your knowledge and understanding of the Pacific War and its enduring impact on the modern world.
