Etta Place at Krause's Cafe
Nov 14, 2024
Etta Place has an identity crisis, in the best possible way. Some have gone as far as labeling the sound as “bi-polar Americana”, swinging back and forth between country and rock styles with the finesse of a jungle cat in a cowboy hat. A dynamic range of influences blend and weave into the sonic scape, captured with the attention and precision that listeners in the know have come to expect from YellowDog Studios, located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Named in homage of the legendary outlaw, Etta Place is currently touring in support of their debut album: Texas Heat - a collection of stories themed around the romantic notions of betrayal and loss, violence and freedom, and wild love affairs.
