Pearl Harbor Commemoration

Join us as we come together at the National Museum of the Pacific War for our annual Pearl Harbor Commemoration on Sunday, December 7th beginning at 11:55 am. The event honors the thousands killed or injured during the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. Members of the public are invited to gather at the Pearl Harbor Wall of the Memorial Courtyard before the event moves into the Historic Nimitz Ballroom.

Time: 11: 55 am - 2 pm
The commemoration will begin with a wreath laying by the Pearl Harbor Wall followed by a presentation in the Historic Nimitz Ballroom from Gary Laine, a Navy Veteran and avid WWII Historian who travels the country collecting WWII veteran’s stories.
Following the presentations wrap up at 12:40 pm, attendees will be invited to stay for a chance to participate in educational activities for the whole family such as making origami Cranes, an engaging story time segment, and coloring pages until the events closure at 2 pm.
