Salado Welcomes the Majestic Clydesdales for an Unforgettable Parade!
Salado, TX – The Village of Salado, in partnership with Jack Hilliard Distributing, is thrilled to present the highly anticipated Clydesdales Parade on Saturday, March 15th, at 2:00 PM. This spectacular event promises an unforgettable experience as these world-renowned, majestic horses make their way through the heart of Salado.
Steeped in history and tradition, Clydesdales have long been admired for their immense strength, graceful stature, and gentle demeanor. Originating from Scotland in the 18th century, these magnificent draft horses were bred for agricultural and industrial work. Over time, they have become iconic symbols of heritage, hard work, and excellence—often recognized from their stunning appearances in parades, commercials, and historical reenactments.
The Clydesdales Parade will be a breathtaking sight, as these towering horses—standing up to six feet tall at the shoulder and weighing up to 2,000 pounds—proudly march through Salado, showcasing their incredible beauty and power. Whether you’re a lifelong horse enthusiast or simply looking for a unique and thrilling experience, this event is not to be missed!
This is a special opportunity for our community and visitors to witness the grandeur of these legendary horses up close. We invite everyone to join us on Main Street for an afternoon filled with history, tradition, and awe-inspiring sights.
Make sure to arrive early to secure a prime viewing spot and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of historic Salado. Visitors can also explore the town’s charming shops, art galleries, and local restaurants before and after the parade.
Join us as we celebrate history, heritage, and the breathtaking beauty of the Clydesdales in the heart of Salado!
