Around every corner, visitors discover objects made of clay, wood, fiber, metal, glass, and recycled materials.  Innovative exhibitions range from exquisite beadwork and contemporary glass to baskets, furniture, jewelry, ceramics and quilts.  A stop in the Craft Garden, adjacent to the visitor parking lot, allows visitors a quiet outdoor respite, where they can see plants that are used for weaving, dyeing, papermaking and basketry.

Visit with Resident Artists
The Artist Residency program at HCCC provides a wonderful medium for visitors to relate to and interact with living craft artists. Individuals from around the country compete for studio space and residencies that last six months to a year.  Visitors are invited to enter the artists' studios, watch them work, and ask questions about their challenges and inspirations.
