Arcadia Live Theatre
Since its opening in 1926 as a vaudeville and silent movie theater, the historic Arcadia Theatre has been a cultural cornerstone in Downtown Kerrville. After decades as a movie house, which included the introduction of sound for “talkies” in the late 1920s, the theater closed its doors in 1989. Thanks to the dedication of the Kerrville community and volunteers, the venue was restored to its original Art Deco design and reopened as Arcadia Live, ending a 30-year hiatus.
Today, this state-of-the-art venue hosts diverse live music performances, community events, and private rentals, offering flexible seating, platformed flooring, two full bars, and a balcony. With its outdoor deck overlooking the Guadalupe River, the Arcadia Live is the perfect setting for weddings, corporate banquets, private screenings, milestone celebrations, and more. Prominent acts like Rodney Crowell, Charley Crockett, and Asleep at the Wheel have graced its stage, making it a hub for entertainment and connection in the heart of Kerrville.
