Galveston Naval Museum in Galveston Hours and Ticket Prices
Galveston Naval Museum is dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich naval history of the United States. Located at Seawolf Park in Galveston, Texas, the museum houses a collection of historically significant warfighting vessels and artifacts. Galveston Naval Museum proudly features the USS Cavalla (SS-244) and the USS Stewart (DE-238), a unique pair of warfighting vessels named Predator and Protector. These meticulously restored vessels offer visitors a captivating glimpse into the challenges and triumphs of naval warfare during World War II. Additionally, the museum showcases the sail of the USS Tautog (SSN-639) and the conning tower of the USS Carp (SS-338), both representing important milestones in submarine technology and the dedication of brave submariners.

Come aboard the USS Stewart (DE-238), the only remaining Edsall-Class Destroyer Escort in the United States.
Hardhat Tours
Take a tour of the engine and machinery spaces of the USS Stewart! We are excited to offer guided tours of areas of our ships that are normally closed to the public. Learn about how Destroyer Escorts operated while underway and see the working conditions of sailors from the
World War 2 era.
