Artwork from around the globe and across the centuries is waiting for you at the Blanton Museum of Art. Located in the heart of Austin, the museum is home to a permanent collection of more than 21,000 pieces. Ancient Greek pottery, Old World masterpieces, and modern and contemporary American and Latin American artwork fill spacious galleries. The museum’s outdoor immersive art experiences are equally captivating and include Ellsworth Kelly’s Austin and Bill Fontana’s Landscape Soundings, a first-of-its-kind outdoor sound sculpture featuring the sounds of Texas Hill Country.
