The Grapevine Vintage Railroad makes every attempt to follow its posted schedule, but arrival times are not guaranteed because it shares tracks with commuter, freight, and Amtrak trains.

Grapevine Bear Creek Short Line:

Boards: 10:20 AM               Train doors close: 10:35 AM

Departs: 10:40 AM             Arrives: 12:10 PM

The excursion operates on select Saturday mornings. Dinos on the Tracks runs in its place during June, July, and part of August.

Cotton Belt Route

Check-in between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM             Departs: 12:40 PM

Re-boards at the Historic Stockyards Station: 4:35 PM

Departs the Stockyards: 4:45 PM             Arrives in Grapevine: approximately 7:15 PM

The Cotton Belt Route operates on select dates. Passengers have approximately two hours to explore the Historic Stockyards independently.

Stockyards Trinity River Excursion

Check-in: 90 minutes before departure             Boards: approximately 2:45 PM

Departs: 3:00 PM             Arrives: approximately 3:45 PM

This 45-minute excursion departs from and returns to the Historic Stockyards Station at 140 E. Exchange Ave. in Fort Worth. It does not travel to Grapevine. Because of freight-train traffic, it operates on a day-to-day basis and is subject to cancellation.

Online ticket sales end at 8:30 AM before each day’s excursion. Same-day tickets may be available at the ticket booth, but availability is not guaranteed. Guests seeking same-day tickets should call 817-410-3185 to confirm availability.

A ticket is required for children age 4 and older. Children younger than 4 may ride free but must remain in the lap or arms of a parent or guardian.

Military discounts are available to members of the armed services and their families. Call 817-410-3185 to reserve tickets with the discount. The current website does not specify a minimum group size or publish a group-rate amount.
