Museum of the Gulf Coast Hours & Admission Prices

The Museum of the Gulf Coast in Port Arthur is the region’s best repository of local geology and archeology, sports, music, and other historical items. Marvel at a 13-foot taxidermied gator, pose in front of Janis Joplin’s funky Porsche, and marvel at one of the largest indoor murals in the South. Plan your visit by checking out the hours of operation and admission prices for the museum and the historic Pompeiian Villa that is managed by the Port Arthur Historical Society.

Monday - Saturday: 9 AM - 5 PM

Closed Sundays and holidays.

College Students (with valid ID): $5
Children (4 - 18): $3
Children (0 - 3): Free

Group Rates (10 people or more)

Adults: $3
Children (0 - 18): $2
School Tours (Grades 3 - College): Free

Pompeiian Villa Tours

Hours:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 1 PM - 5 PM
Tuesday & Thursday:  10 AM - 2 PM

Tickets: $4

Villa tours must be made in advance. Group tour size is limited to a maximum of 12 people.
