Museum of Western Art:
Ranked #1 Western Art Museum
To be titled the #1 Western Art Museum in the U.S. is truly an esteemed honor, and the Museum of Western Art in Kerrville, Texas received this title in September 2025 from True West Magazine.
This beautiful, 14,000-square-foot facility is where you can step back into the Wild West and reminisce on the golden era of the American frontier and the works of some of the country’s finest cowboy artists. Through Western paintings, sculptures, drawings, and artifacts, as well as educational workshops, lectures, and special events, the Museum of Western Art tells the story of the West and the people who braved its challenges. Below you’ll find information on the hours and admission prices for visiting the museum, which is deep in the heart of the Texas Hill Country.
