Cinco de Mayo in Huntsville Directions
Celebrate all the vibrant colors, flavorful foods, and captivating dances of Mexico at Huntsville’s annual Cinco de Mayo event. Held on the first Saturday in May in downtown Huntsville, this one-day fiesta brings together stunning dance and musical performances, delicious cuisine, distinctive Mexican handcrafts, and hands-on activities that are fun for the whole family. Take part in the celebration and you’ll feel as if you’ve been whisked away to Mexico. Before you plan to attend, make sure to check out the directions to the event site so you come fully prepared to have a great time.
Where to Park
Parking is available on the street or in the lot near the Walker County Annex building at 1301 Sam Houston Avenue.
Directions to Event Site
Huntsville’s Cinco de Mayo is held at the Walker County Annex Parking Lot, located at the intersection of University Avenue and 14th Street. Use the following directions to reach the event site:
Via I-45 South from Buffalo:
Take Exit 116 toward TX-30/US-190 E/11 Street. Turn left on 11th Street and then right on University Avenue.
Via I-45 North from Houston:
Turn right onto Exit 112 toward Sam Houston State University. Continue for four miles, then turn right onto 14th street. Destination will be on the left.
Via TX-30 from Bryan/College Station:
Head east on TX-30 past I-45 until it becomes 11th Street. Continue on 11th Street, then turn right on University Avenue.
