Baytown Nature Center

Spread across a 450-acre peninsula surrounded by three bays, the park provides an easy escape for fishing, picnicking, and hiking. A prime location on the Great Texas Coastal Trail, the nature center is home to as many as 300 species of birds that either nest, migrate, or reside full-time in the area. Don’t miss the Crystal Bay Butterfly Garden, the Myra C. Brown Bird Sanctuary, and the Children’s Nature Discovery Area that features exhibits that explain the flora and fauna of the area.

Eddie V. Gray Wetlands Education Center (WERC)
