“The Arch,” as it’s affectionately known, is all that remains of Graham’s 1884 courthouse that was razed in 1932 to make way for the current structure. Today, the Courthouse Archway is a town symbol that can be seen during a visit to the downtown square.

Fort Belknap
Step inside a U.S. Army frontier fort that was a base of operations for troops who protected residents of the area before the Civil War. A small museum displays period clothing and other items relay the fort’s history, and you can see several restored buildings when you tour the installation.

Graham Country Club
Scenic fairways set among thickets of verdant trees greet you at Graham Country Club, which the Dallas Morning News ranked among the top nine-hole courses in Texas. The tree-shaded course features 24 sand traps, beautifully manicured greens, and two of the most challenging par-4’s you’ll ever play back-to-back. After your round, stop by the full-service club for a delicious meal or take a dip in the swimming pool. The course is open Tuesday through Sunday.

Graham Drive-in Theatre
See a movie under the stars at the drive-in theater in Graham, one of the few operating outdoor movie theaters left in Texas. Old Post Office Museum and Art Center
Stepping into the museum and art center that now occupies Graham’s old art deco-style post office is like taking an adventure through Young County history. The museum features oil field photographs from the 1800’s and 1900’s, a military collection of uniforms and equipment from the American Indian War, and a collection of Native American pottery. Tour the art center and you’ll see paintings, sculptures, photographs, and other works that make up one of the many rotating exhibits and shows held here throughout the year. The museum and art center is open Monday through Friday.

Possum Kingdom State Park
Drive 30 miles south of Graham and you’ll find Possum Kingdom State Park, a sprawling natural area with beautiful blue water and scenic sandy beaches. Go for a swim in the crystal-clear water, try your luck at snagging a bass fish, or hike and bike on the gorgeous nature trails. The park is open year-round and a small fee is owed upon entry.

Young County Arena

Young County Veterans Memorial
Located on the downtown square, the Young County Veterans Memorial remembers the 157 Young County men and women who died serving their country since World War I. The memorial features a seven-foot-tall red granite star set in the center of a wall inscribed with the names of all Young County residents who served in the military in the 20th century.
