Experience a bygone era of transportation by embarking on a journey with the Grapevine Vintage Railroad. Hop aboard a historic train and see a one-of-a-kind views as your ride the rails. Journey from Grapevine to the historic Fort Worth Stockyards, then stay aboard to travel along the scenic Trinity River. Seasonal rides, like the North Pole Express and the Christmas Wine Train, are offered as well.

Historic Downtown Grapevine
The cultural heart of Grapevine resides in its historic downtown area. Nash Farm
Discover Grapevine’s heritage through exhibits, interpretive programs, and interactive displays at the Nash Farm, a 5.2-acre farm and a living history attraction. One of the main attractions at Nash Farm is the house that Thomas Jefferson Nash built in 1869, as well as the historic barn and cemetery. Admission is free and guided tours are available.

Great Wolf Lodge Indoor Water Park
Swim, splash, and play at the Great Wolf Lodge, home to the largest indoor water park in Texas. Palace Arts Center
Two historic structures comprise the Palace Arts Center, located in downtown Grapevine. The first, the Palace Theatre, was built in 1940 and today screens classic movies on Friday nights in its art deco-style theater. Meanwhile, the Lancaster Theatre is a 1930’s grocery store that has been restored to all its Spanish Mediterranean-style glory. Both venues host various performances and can be reserved for banquets, parties, and other events.

Cowboys Golf Club
The worlds of golf and football meet at Cowboys Golf Club, the only NFL-themed golf club in the world. Take on the 18-hole course, designed by award-winning architect Jeff Brauer, and you’ll encounter fairways bordered by mature trees, breathtaking natural waterways, and a wealth of wildlife. Markers that pay homage to Dallas Cowboys history are peppered throughout the course, and each hole has four tees to accommodate players of all skill levels. Grapevine Botanical Gardens at Heritage Park

Grapevine Glockenspiel Clock Tower
Grapevine’s Glockenspiel clock tower stands above the town’s historic Main Street, making it one of the most prominent landmarks in town. Visit at noon, 3 p.m., 6 p.m., and 9 p.m. to see two nine-foot-tall Glockenspiel characters (known as the Would-Be Train Robbers) emerge from the tower to attempt the perfect heist.

Giddens Gallery of Fine Art

Lake Grapevine
Scenic tree-covered hills surround the 8,000-acre Lake Grapevine, a picturesque recreational area popular for boating, water-skiing, wind surfing, fishing, and camping. More than nine miles of nature trails can be found in the various parks around the lake, and designated swimming beaches are located within Meadowmere Park and the Vineyard’s Campgrounds.

Oak Grove Park
Imagine anything you can do outdoors, and you’ll probably be able to do it in Oak Grove Park. This 40-acre park, nestled on the southwestern shore of Lake Grapevine, is packed with amenities that accommodate a wide range of activities. Play a game on the sand volleyball or basketball court, fish in the small pond at the center of the park, or go for a jog or ride your bike on the scenic concrete trail. Boat ramps, a marina, and a restaurant and ship store reside within the park as well. Admission is free and the park is open year-round.

Rockledge Park
Sit back and relax as you take in gorgeous views of Lake Grapevine from a ridge-top pavilion at Rockledge Park. Located on the eastern side of the lake, the park has a sandy beach with a non-designated swimming area, playground, and picnic tables. In addition, it’s the starting point for North Shore Trail, a 9.5-mile biking trail that is one of the most popular in the Dallas and Fort Worth area.

Dine on a three-course meal while you watch Wild West-costumed actors perform an award-winning comedy murder mystery offered by the Texas Star Dinner Theater. Tickets to each show, and menu information, is available on the theater’s website.
