Blue Hole
Blue Hole is a scenic lagoon bordered by tree-covered limestone bluffs situated on the south fork of the San Gabriel River just a few blocks from downtown Georgetown. The park has picnic spots, wading areas, and restrooms, and is open from dawn until dusk.

Georgetown Palace Theatre
Attend a top-class musical at the Georgetown Palace Theatre, a non-profit performing arts theater in Georgetown. Grace Heritage Center
Georgetown’s Grace Heritage Center is a former episcopal church built in 1881. The white-walled structure features gothic pointed arches, vaulted ceilings, and a Norman-style tower, making it one of Georgetown’s notable buildings. Today, the former church is used as a scenic backdrop for weddings and other events.

Grape Creek Winery – Georgetown
Grape Creek Winery is a Fredericksburg-based winery and vineyard that has a tasting room in the Georgetown square. The tasting room features Grape Creek Winery’s assortment of wines, and an upstairs lounge area and a large outdoor patio for Wine Club members. Grape Creek – Georgetown is open every day except Christmas day, Thanksgiving, and Easter Sunday.

Historic Downtown Georgetown

Inner Space Cavern
Explore a majestic Hill Country cave at Inner Space Cavern, located on the south side of Georgetown off of Interstate 35. Several kinds of tours are offered at the cave, which was discovered by a Texas Highway Department core drilling team in 1963. These tours include an adventure tour, ideal for all ages and skill levels, and a wild cave tour that takes visitors to undeveloped sections of the cavern.

Jim Hogg Park
Jim Hogg Park, located on the north shore of Lake Georgetown, offers lake access for boating and fishing. The park sits along San Gabriel River Trail, a 26-mile rugged hiking trail that meanders through a dense forest and scenic prairie grasslands. Picnic areas and more than 140 camp sites can be found within the park, which is open throughout the year.

San Gabriel Park
San Gabriel Park in Georgetown sits on the north shore of the picturesque San Gabriel River on the north side of town. The 180-acre natural area is full of 200-year-old oak trees and miles of hiking and biking trails that follow the river to Georgetown’s other parks. A nine-hole disc golf course, recreational center, and soccer and baseball fields can also be found within the confines of San Gabriel Park.

Discover the fascinating history of Williamson County at The Williamson Museum.
